Get To Know Kidznizmo

KidzNizmo originates as a bilingual comic series in Malay and English targeted at preschoolers and supported by Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism. Kidznizmo epitomises the concept of STEAM and enshrines it as Singapore’s first STEAM comic book series for early education.

Our first 3 comic books will be launched on 30th November 2021. Each book has 3 stories, 1 video game, 1 video of kids activity, centerspread as activity or game & numerous worksheets. By adopting the essence of STEAM, these books significant paradigm shift in pedagogy to one of learning through play and fun. With visuals, videos and the local characters Sara, Tom, Eric, Anna and Matt to represent each vocation of expertise, we trust children will be better able to identify, hence look upon the Kidznizmo team as idols to emulate.

Here you’ll meet five extraordinary kids and one mysterious alien friend who together turn everyday moments into unforgettable STEAM journeys. STEAM, if you’re new to the term, stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics — the five powerful pillars that help children understand the world, invent new things, and express themselves in creative ways. At Kidnizmo, these subjects aren’t taught through boring textbooks. They’re lived through exciting stories, playful challenges, and real-world discoveries.

I'm Tom

Tom is the explorer of science and technology. He carries a tablet in one hand and a sense of wonder in the other. Tom is passionate about understanding how things work — from the tiniest atoms to the vastness of space, from simple circuits to complex computer programs.

I'm Sarah

Sara is deeply passionate about science and technology, but she brings her own unique energy to the group. She is thoughtful, observant, and always ready to dive deeper into a topic. Whether she’s studying how plants grow under different conditions, learning how sensors work, or experimenting with new digital tools, Sara approaches every challenge with focus and curiosity.

I'm Mat

Matt is the quiet thinker of the group, the one who sees patterns where others see chaos. Numbers dance in his head. Whether he’s calculating the perfect angle for a paper airplane, figuring out how many minutes are left until snack time, or solving a tricky puzzle that has everyone else stumped, Matt approaches every problem with calm confidence.

I'm Ana

Anna sees the world through a paintbrush, a sketchbook, and an endless supply of imagination. While others might look at a blank wall and see emptiness, Anna sees a canvas. She loves mixing colors, creating characters, and turning simple ideas into beautiful works of art. Art, for Anna, is more than decoration — it’s a language.

This is the alien friend who arrived from somewhere far beyond the stars. No one knows exactly where the alien comes from or what the future holds, but one thing is certain: every adventure becomes more exciting the moment this special friend joins the group. The alien brings new perspectives, unexpected ideas, and a sense of wonder that reminds the kids (and all of us) that the universe is full of surprises.

I'm Erik

Erik is never happier than when his hands are busy. Give him cardboard, tape, motors, or a pile of leftover materials, and he’ll transform them into something amazing. He is deeply interested in engineering — the art of designing, building, and improving things that solve real problems.
